About the Community
Welcome to The Isabella at Monticello Mews,
The Isabella, constructed in 2012 is a 144-unit, pet-friendly mid-rise condominium consisting of six floors of dwellings and two floors of underground parking.
There are an array of amenities offered at The Isabella- gated community, shuttle to Van Dorn metro (during rush hours), multi-sports court, 25-meter pool, gas grills, community room, fitness center, dog park, membership with the Bren Mar Recreation Center, and walking trail.
Community Management Corporation (CMC) manages the building and the association is governed by a 5-member Board of Directors which holds monthly meetings in the Community Room and via Zoom. Unit owners are welcome and encouraged to attend.
We are located in Fairfax County off Edsall Road, halfway between I-395 and South Van Dorn (just inside the Capital Beltway with almost immediate access to three of the DC Metro area’s main highways: I-495 (the Capital Beltway), I-95, and I-395)
The Van Dorn metro stop is a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute drive (Taxi, Uber, or Lyft), or you may take the complimentary shuttle which runs Monday - Friday during morning and evening rush hour.
We also encourage you to explore the immediate neighborhood (the Western end of Alexandria, located just north of Springfield), which offers a seemingly endless array of dining, shopping, and entertainment

- Unit D –1 bedroom + den / 1 bathroom – 954 sq feet – 4 units
- Unit I – 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom – 867 sq feet – 12 units
- Unit G – 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom – 781 sq feet – 12 units
- Unit H – 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom – 762 sq feet – 12 units
- Unit C – 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom – 759 sq feet – 34 units
Condo fees are assessed by the square footage of the unit and cover water, sewage, trash removal, common area and exterior building maintenance, snow plowing, landscaping, and contributions to reserve funds. Utilities at the owners expense are electric, gas, and optional internet/phone/cable. Units have central A/C (electric), forced air heating (natural gas), and tankless water heaters. Each condo comes with at least one parking space that conveys with the unit, and there are more than 20 visitor parking spaces available for guests on a first-come, first-served basis.
